1. How did you two meet?
Bumble, I had the app for less than 24 hours before meeting him! Come to find out I had looked at an apartment a few doors down weeks prior.
2. How did he propose, and tell me about your engagement ring - it’s gorgeous!
A few days after my graduation we went to our favorite beach, and he proposed while we were hunting for shark teeth.
I didn’t want a diamond, I told him months before I wanted a pear cut sapphire and he actually picked it out!
3. What made you two decide on a small beach wedding? Is that location significant to you?
We chose the beach of our first date & where he proposed!
Neither of us wanted a big wedding - we wanted to skip the stress and any potential family drama, and preferred to spend our money on starting a family over an extravagant wedding.
4. Looking back to your wedding day, what’s the one thing you hope to remember forever? The high point? Is there anything you wish you would have done differently?
I’ll never forget the look on his face when I walked up! Our ceremony was so intimate down to his brother in law being our officiant, it was exactly what we envisioned.
5. What advice can you give to future brides thinking of nixing the whole idea of a huge wedding day and doing a small intimate event like yours?
Don’t let others convince you into doing anything you don’t want!!!! Spending time with a few important people made the day so special. We were able to focus on the finer details and really enjoy every moment.
