Being engaged is such a fun and special time in life. It’s this beautiful little chapter where couples get to soak in all the love and excitement — just the two of them and with their closest family and friends — before stepping into marriage.

Engagement photo sessions are one of my favorite ways to celebrate this season. So many of my couples tell me afterward, “Okay… now it really feels official.” And I love that! It’s not just about the photos (though those are definitely a perk!) — it’s about capturing who you are together in this moment.

I totally get that being in front of the camera can feel intimidating. Honestly, nearly every couple starts the session with, “We’re the most awkward people you’ll ever meet,” and I always say, “Don’t you worry. I got you.” 💛 By the end, they’re laughing, relaxed, and having a blast.

Engagement sessions are also the perfect time to create beautiful images for things like save-the-dates, guestbooks, and even wedding websites.
